What is the PRC?
ISTA’s Professional Resource Center (PRC) is the learning and networking program that provides our members with professional development and learning opportunities. The PRC fosters innovation, collaboration, collegiality and scholarship through a range of programs, services and resources.
National Board Certification
It is a mission of ISTA to increase the number of National Board Certified Teachers in Indiana. ISTA offers a variety of financial support and online and in-person resources to help you achieve National Board Certification.
An NEA micro-credential is a competency-based recognition that is issued for professional learning experiences. They are designed to support educators in both the development of skills and the acquisition of knowledge. NEA micro-credentials are created and assessed by teachers and are focused on classroom practices that support student success.
NEA micro-credentials are free, regardless of membership status with NEA. Each micro-credential submission is equivalent to 15 PGP points. Certificates will be issued when submission reports are received. Explore the job-embedded micro-credentials and start your personalized learning today.
ISTA’s PRC hosts a number of high-quality, statewide and local conferences and events.
Members can earn Professional Growth Points (PGP), connect with colleagues from across the state and collaborate with educators looking to advance the profession.
ISTA PRC events are offered at little or no-cost to our members to support their continued learning and growth as an educator. If you’re not a member, conference rates may vary for each event. Consider a membership in ISTA for significant savings on professional development and learning!
