The Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) is the voice of public education and educators in Indiana. Our nearly 40,000 members — from college students to retired educators — comprise the Association. ISTA membership offers a collective voice for the education profession and public schools in our communities.
ISTA is an affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA). The resources from NEA and ISTA enable the hundreds of local associations across the state to advocate for their members on issues such as compensation, working conditions, professional development and the well-being of their students.

Technology and Information Specialist
This position provides support services for the effective operation of the association's technology systems, designs and delivers technology training programs, and facilitates the integration of the association content with information dissemination systems. UniServ Director
The Indiana State Teachers Association is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of UniServ Director in Area 2-2. The UniServ area encompasses approximately 10 locals. UniServ Area 2-2 is located in the northern portion of Indiana, in the general South Bend area, and is assigned to the Valparaiso office. This position is under the direction of Corey Kern, Director of UniServ and Organizing, Northern Region.

Accounting Supervisor
The supervisor of accounting should have experience in accounting department operations, corporate income, property, and payroll taxation, be familiar with computerized operations, and have experience as a supervisor of other personnel. Executive Director
The Executive Director is the Association’s chief administrator who leads a staff of 65 in coordination with ISTA’s President to ensure implementation of the full scope of policies, procedures, and programs approved and adopted by the ISTA Board of Directors. The Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) seeks a strategic, motivational, passionate leader for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director works in partnership with the Association's governance and staff to provide operational leadership for ISTA to fulfill ISTA’s mission “to sustain quality public education, improve students’ educational opportunities and advance the professional status of educators.”
