The Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) is the voice of public education and educators in Indiana. Our nearly 40,000 members — from college students to retired educators — comprise the Association. ISTA membership offers a collective voice for the education profession and public schools in our communities.
ISTA is an affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA). The resources from NEA and ISTA enable the hundreds of local associations across the state to advocate for their members on issues such as compensation, working conditions, professional development and the well-being of their students.
As an affiliate of NEA, ISTA adheres to a code of ethics that guides our members and our policies.

Director of UniServ and Organizing (2)
ISTA is hiring two manager-level positions reporting to ISTA Executive Director Dan Holub. The two director of UniServ and organizing positions will remain open until filled. Submitted applications will be reviewed beginning the week of January 14, 2019.

Member Resource Center Associate/Membership Report Developer
There is a vacancy in the position of Member Resource Center (MRC) Associate/Membership Report Developer, located in Indianapolis at the ISTA Headquarters. This is an ASO Class B position. The job description is attached, with the hours of the position being 9:45 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. ET. The salary for this position is $38,827, and the supervisor is Machaun Allen, MRC Supervisor.
