Pursuing National Board Certification? Apply for a scholarship

The ISTA Foundation is committed to supporting educators working to attain certification, because better practitioners improve student learning. Last year, the ISTA Foundation awarded 19 scholarships to ISTA members pursuing National Board Certification.
The foundation offers up to $500 for each educator awarded the scholarship.
“We’re interested in funding as many educators as possible who wish to strengthen their teaching practices,” said ISTA Foundation President Keith Gambill. “It is always our aim to offer the best educators for our kids and our schools.”
National Board Certification is recognized as the gold standard in educator professional development. ISTA and the ISTA Foundation seek to increase the number of educators with National Board Certification.
Applications for this year’s ISTA Foundation National Board Certification Scholarship will be accepted until Jan. 31, 2018.
