ISTA recognizes the challenges members may be facing following the August 2026 Indiana storms. To support members affected by the storm damage covered under the FEMA major disaster declaration, ISTA is offering $500 in disaster relief financial assistance for eligible expenses not covered by insurance, government programs or other funding sources.

ISTA members who experienced storm-related damage to their primary residence, vehicle, personal property, classroom or workspace or other disaster-related expenses are encouraged to complete the disaster relief application.

Applicants must upload supporting documentation, such as photos of damage, insurance claims, repair estimates or written confirmation of damage. Documentation is required to help verify applications and process requests. Applications without supporting documentation may be delayed or denied.

Please complete the application.

The submission deadline is Friday, Nov. 20.

Relief assistance will be issued by check. Applicants can indicate whether they prefer to receive their check by mail or pick it up at an ISTA office.

ISTA stands with members and communities as they continue to recover from the impact of these storms.
