03/12/2020

ISTA President Keith Gambill issued the following statement in response to Gov. Holcomb’s decision to give Indiana schools the flexibility to close in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“Although we understand the hardships involved for Hoosiers when schools close, ISTA supports the governor’s decision to provide flexibility for Indiana schools in order to protect the health of students, staff and their families. ISTA stands by as a partner to help in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our schools.”
