The ISTA Minority Affairs Committee and the Indiana Department of Education will host this virtual presentation to provide a foundation and vocabulary on topics involving race for educators. Participants will be provided with specific teaching strategies to utilize in classrooms where reading and discussions of current events or literature take place.

Teachers can earn Professional Growth Plan points. Certificates will be made available.

The Early Leadership Institute (ELI) provides an opportunity for local associations to strengthen their connection to early career educators in a cohort-based learning journey to address issues of importance to the next generation of Association leaders. This event is limited to ELI coaches for the 2020 - 21 program year.
