Have you ever wanted to be one of the tens of thousands of educators at the NEA Representative Assembly (RA)? Now’s your chance!
A delegate to the NEA RA gets to participate in the democratic process for our Association. Decide the policy direction and changes that will guide NEA for the next two years.
In the fall 2019 issue of the Advocate magazine, the rules for the NEA RA delegate state election and the ISTA-Retired election are outlined – this election is for the 2020 and 2021 NEA RA.
You’ll find a simple candidate nomination form in the Advocate, which was mailed to each member’s mailbox. Complete and mail in the form – following all directions outlined in the election rules. The candidate forms must be postmarked by Nov. 8 or hand-delivered to the ISTA Headquarters in downtown Indianapolis by Nov. 8 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
If you didn’t receive your copy of the Advocate, you can either download and print the form from the online issue or contact the ISTA Member Resource Center at 844-ASK-ISTA for a new copy.
