What's next? Share your thoughts on next steps for racial justice advocacy
06/18/2020

We support the thousands of educators who have participated in Black Lives Matter protests in communities across the state. We stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and in opposition to systemic racism that continues to plague black and brown people in every aspect of life.

Last week we held a Race & Unity Conversation with members about racial inequity in our schools. We believe the best way educators can show students of color support is through intentional anti-racist action in our communities and our schools.

Together, we must do better, and we will. Please share your ideas with us and with each other. You can also find racial and social justice resources on our website. We will continue to connect with members, non-members, leaders, policymakers, social justice organizations, labor unions and others to enact real change. It’s going to take everyone. And we’re all in.
