Read with your students this month
03/02/2021

As with most events this school year, Read Across America looks a little different, but ISTA is still celebrating!

Throughout March, ISTA officers are visiting seven classrooms virtually to read with students. Boxes of books, bags, bookmarks and pencils have been shipped to excited students across the state.

Officers will read books that represent diverse voices and perspectives. From elementary to high school, there is a Read Across America book for every student.

The National Education Association has curated curriculum and lesson plans for books to enhance the learning experience in your classroom.

RESOURCES

Pull up a chair, grab a book and read with your students. Share your classroom reading moments on social media using the hashtags #ReadAcrossAmerica and #ReadwithISTA.
