  • Visibility matters: Wear ISTA colors and bring respectful signs if possible.
  • How to Prepare for Participation
    • Register Early: Ensure you register as soon as you arrive to secure a spot to speak.
    • Prepare Your Statement: Given the time limits, it’s crucial to prepare a concise statement that clearly articulates your concerns and suggestions.
    • Focus on Constructive Feedback: While it's important to express frustrations, also aim to propose clear and constructive changes.

ISTA believes in the power of collective action. Your participation is important in demonstrating our unity and resolve in addressing these requirements that significantly impact our professional lives. We also encourage you to invite fellow educators who share our concerns to join us. If you would prefer not to speak, feel free to attend to show your support.

For those who cannot attend in person, we are asking that you send your written comments to the board at SBOE_Comment@sboe.in.gov.

Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your dedication to this cause and for continuing to advocate for the respect and support our educators deserve.
