Event Details

You’re invited to attend the 2023 Summer Leadership Conference on June 7 – 8 at the Sheraton Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis, Ind. At this year’s conference you will learn how to organize and engage members for the 2023 – 24 school year. Additionally, members will learn about the language of organizing and issue campaigns and have an opportunity to choose sessions on a variety of topics ranging from: school boards and referenda, organizing around local policy, privatization and more.

Event Details

ISTA is hosting its inaugural Indiana Educators of Color Conference for Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) members and allies. The conference will begin at the conclusion of the Summer Leadership Conference on June 8 – 9 at the Sheraton Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis. This year’s theme is “Make Your Mark!”. Attendees will have an opportunity to choose between sessions on a variety of topics ranging from: story of self, racialized trauma and more.
