ISTA Statement on National Day of Action against Gun Violence in Schools
04/20/2018

ISTA President Teresa Meredith released the following statement in observation of the National Day of Action against Gun Violence in Schools:

“Today, students across Indiana and the country are saying ‘enough is enough’ to gun violence. As educators, we seek to provide safe environments where teaching and learning can occur for all students.

“We are supportive of students, educators, parents and community leaders organizing for change to end gun violence in their schools and communities. We call on principals, administrators and school districts to support them as well.”
