ISTA Statement on Gov. Holcomb’s 2021 State of the State Address
01/19/2021

ISTA President Keith Gambill issued the following statement in response to Gov. Holcomb’s 2021 State of the State Address.

“We applaud Gov. Holcomb for his commitment to funding K-12 education and to ensuring Hoosier teacher pay is competitive in the Midwest. We also agree that the expansion of vouchers can’t come at the expense of our public schools, which 90% of Hoosier kids attend.

We look forward to working with the governor on these and other education issues throughout the legislative session.”
