“Hoosiers, including educators, pay among the highest hospital costs in the country. High-priced healthcare makes it difficult to raise educator salaries when these costs eat into take home pay. We ask that lawmakers still work for and support the inclusion of a cap tied to the Medicare reimbursement rate in HB 1004. This is a common-sense measure that will help to make health care more affordable for Hoosiers.”
