How can you celebrate Read Across America?
01/21/2021

Read Across America on Tuesday, March 2 is less than two months away. Here are ways you can celebrate in your classroom.

Access NEA Resources

The National Education Association has compiled numerous resources to highlight books for all readers and lessons to go with them. There are also virtual and read-aloud resources for those who may still be in hybrid or all remote learning.

The Read Across America calendar and posters have gone digital this year, but you can still view all the content and information on the Read Across America website.

Plan Your Own Read Across America Event

Whether socially distanced or virtual, you or your school can host events to participate in Read Across America on March 2. Host a virtual book fair, plan a read-in when all students read a book at a set time during the day, learn about an Indiana author or check out these ideas.
