Call for candidates to serve on the NEA board of directors

At the ISTA Representative Assembly (RA) on April 24, 2021, delegates will elect a member to serve on the NEA board of directors. The position term is three years starting September 1, 2021, serving no more than two terms.
NEA board of directors’ members represent ISTA members on the national board. They also lead lobbying efforts on the federal level and raise funds for the NEA Fund.
Important Dates for Interested Candidates
November 3, 2020: Candidate form deadline for publication in the winter Advocate.
March 1, 2021: Candidate form deadline.
April 24, 2021: Election at ISTA RA.
If you are an interested candidate, complete the candidate form on the ISTA website with a statement and photo before March 1. Forms, statements and photos received before Nov. 3 will appear in the winter Advocate. All documents received after Nov. 3 and before March 1 will appear on the ISTA website.
