Kim Strobel

Kim Strobel is the owner of Strobel Education. She is a nationally recognized teacher, education consultant, motivational speaker and happiness coach who is deeply passionate about empowering others to live bigger, bolder, braver lives.

During her 20-year education career, she has partnered with teachers and students at all levels to implement innovative and inspirational practices in the classroom, increase academic achievement and create positive school-wide climates.

With her contagious high-energy style, Kim has a unique ability to empower and embolden her audiences. Motivational, inspirational and always approachable, Kim’s “real talk” attitude is a refreshing approach that allows her to authentically connect with audiences everywhere.

Vicki Davis

Vicki Davis is a full-time teacher and IT director in Camilla, Georgia. Her mission is to help educators be better teachers. She is passionate about helping all teachers reach every student. She focuses on teaching, staying motivated and how to connect with other teachers. Davis emphasizes being organized and using technology, while presenting the latest news and trends.

Registration for the Good Teaching Conference is open to ISTA members.

REGISTER

The Good Teaching Conference is free for ISTA members to attend. ISTA members will need their member ID to register. If you don’t know your member ID, contact the Member Resource Center at 844-ASK-ISTA or askista@ista-in.org.

Registration is open to ISTA members only through Feb. 7. If space is still available, registration will be opened to both members and non-members until Feb. 21. Non-member conference registration is $250.

Accommodations

Good Teaching Conference attendees are responsible for their travel and accommodations. Here is a list of hotel accommodations near the venue.

This year, through an NEA Center for Great Public Schools grant, ISTA can provide a $75 hotel reimbursement for the evening of Friday, March 6 to ISEA members and early career educator members within the first seven years of the profession. This offer is to help defray costs of attending the Good Teaching Conference. This will be limited to the first 150 ISEA and early career educator members who submit the completed reimbursement and paid hotel invoice to Katie Beaumont at kbeaumont@ista-in.org
