WRTV gets settlement story right

Yesterday, Secretary of State Lawson held a politically charged press conference to announce the list of school districts receiving settlement funds. There were several media outlets that covered this story, but we wanted to commend the coverage from WRTV, the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis.

WRTV’s Chris Proffitt aired a story that was balanced and told the story from ISTA’s perspective as well, not just Secretary of State Lawson’s inaccurate statements and political rhetoric.
