01/16/2014

ISTA President, Teresa Meredith, and Treasurer, Callie Marksbary, volunteered to be guest readers at the 13th consecutive season with the Indiana Pacers in its “Read Like a Pro” Reading Timeout Program on Wednesday night.

More than 200 children from the Department of Child Services were treated to an evening of books, prizes and favorite stories with guest readers. Pacers mascot, Boomer, helped promote the service program which is part of the team’s endeavor to promote the well-being of youth and families in central Indiana.
